A conference organized by the ITS Poland Association and the General Inspectorate of Road Transport (GITD) on the role of intelligent transportation systems in supporting road safety was held in Warsaw on June 14. The event brought together more than 100 experts from the business sector, organizations, universities and research institutes.
Neurosoft participated in the prestigious ISNR 2024 (International Security National Resilience) expo, which took place in Abu Dhabi on May 27-29. ISNR is one of the most important global events in the security and national resilience industry, bringing together leading experts, entrepreneurs and decision-makers from the public and private sectors.
The verification of the quality of operation of Continuous Count Stations (CCS) for the equipment providing data to the General Directorate for National Roads and Highways (GDDKiA) was completed today. Tests were conducted for 19 stations operating in the Lower Silesian and Silesian voivodeships. Control measurements were performed in accordance with the GDDKiA procedure, comparing the results provided by the traffic counter with manually verified results collected by the appropriate reference system.
In early May of this year, the first NeuroCar station for weighing vehicles in traffic of the HS-WIM type was put into operation on the E311 road, within the emirate of Umm Al Quwain. This is the first of the devices being installed by Site Technology as part of a truck traffic monitoring project commissioned by the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI).
The Intertraffic Amsterdam 2024 international trade fair, held April 16-19, showcased upcoming innovations within the traffic and mobility sector bringing together 800+ exhibitors from around the world. Neurosoft's advanced artificial intelligence-based traffic management system proved to be popular amongst attendees in the upcoming AI marketplace, which promises revolutionary improvements in urban mobility and safety.
From April 16 to 19, 2024, Neurosoft will once again present its NeuroCar product line at the Intertraffic Amsterdam international trade fair. This is one of the most important events for the road and transportation industry, which will be attended by experts and representatives of many institutions and companies from around the world.
A meeting of the ITS Architecture and Standardization Committee, which operates within the ITS Poland Association, was held on January 25 this year. The meeting inaugurated work on another study in the series of "Codes of Good Practices" – this time work was initiated on Part V, which is to deal with systems for dynamic weighing of vehicles (HS-WIM). The meeting was attended by members of the association and other entities interested in the development of vehicle weighing systems in the context of increasing traffic safety and road protection.
On October 9-10, 2023, Neurosoft participated in the 15th anniversary of the Polish Congress of Intelligent Transportation Systems in Warsaw. The ITS Congress is a response to the challenges of the ICT market in transportation, the changing expectations of it, both technical and social, and the challenges in its legal environment.
