In January 2023, a system for automatic registration of vehicles moving in the Old Town area of Lublin was launched – the investor was the Lublin Municipality. The system allows managing the list of authorized vehicles and reporting violations in real time. The main component of the system are cameras for recognizing vehicle registration numbers mounted at all entrances to the Old Town.
As part of the system, two cameras dedicated to vehicle detection and identification (ANPR) were installed, on Lubartowska Street from Olejna and Noworybna Streets. The central software was installed in the Investor’s server infrastructure, as an extension of the NeuroCar system, which has been operating in Lublin for years. Access to the system will be granted to services responsible for supervising and enforcing the entry of unauthorized vehicles into the Old Town.
