A sensor for measuring visibility (air clarity) in outdoor conditions, in the range of 10 to 2000 meters. It works by measuring scattered light – between a transmitter and receiver positioned at a 45° angle. The sensor is completely hermetic and is equipped with an active protection mechanism against spiders (vibrations). Configuration and data reading is possible via a serial port, the measurements are updated every 1 minute.
