Vehicle detection and classification device using an array of induction loops installed in the road surface. The device detects vehicles in motion, across multiple lanes simultaneously, determining the direction, speed, and class of each vehicle according to the TLS standard. The device operates autonomously, storing data on a local storage device. The data can be transmitted to a host system via a serial interface (RS-485), ethernet interface (IP), or through an LTE modem.
