MMR Technology (Make and Model Recognition) is used for automatic recognition of the manufacturer and model of a vehicle based on an image. This technology, developed and patented by Neurosoft, complements ANPR technology (license plate recognition). MMR recognition also enables the determination of the vehicle type (passenger, delivery, commercial, bus) and body color. The technology utilizes deep neural networks that have been optimized to operate on embedded devices, such as intelligent cameras with neural accelerators. MMR is natively implemented on various hardware platforms (Intel x86 SSE, ARM neon, NVIDIA Jetson) and operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Linux, Android). The database of recognized vehicles encompasses nearly 2000 models and is constantly updated.
